Whether you're a music educator or an enthusiast, our platform empowers you to curate unique learning experiences for players worldwide.

With PianoPatrol content creation platform, you have the freedom to design custom programs tailored to your teaching goals or musical interests. Once you have created your musical program, you can make it available for all PianoPatrol players worldwide. 

        The basics:
        1.	Each program is combined from several courses (one or more)
        2.	Each course has several levels.
        3.	Each level is based on a music XML file (a popular sheet music file format)

You can upload your own musicXML files or you can use MusicXML files shared by other members. You can also include in your program courses that were shared by other members so you can focus and write only the main course of your program.

For instance, if your program aims to teach a specific song, you can complement it with publicly available foundational courses, covering essential skills required before delving into the main content.

How to Get Started – Step by Step

Assuming you’ve already downloaded and played the PianoPatrol game, here’s how you can add your own content to the game:

  1. Watch the two tutorial videos at the top of this page.
  2. Decide which sheet music or original composition you want to use for your PianoPatrol game.
  3. Convert or export the selected music into one or more MusicXML files.
  4. Go to the MusicXML menu and upload your MusicXML files.
  5. Go to the Programs menu and create a new program.
  6. Add a new course to your program.
  7. Add levels to your course.
  8. Add explanatory videos (optional). To add videos, go to the Videos menu.
  9. Add a background music track (optional). To include a background audio track, go to the Piano Karaoke menu.
  10. When you're finished, navigate to Programs Menu -> My Programs and click the Install/Update button. This will make your musical program accessible to all PianoPatrol players.
